This is the prologue I was telling you guys about last night, its the sequel to the fic just fnished called Release me ,its short, but gives you an idea about the state Of Marks mind and how he is thinking. I will post chapter one later this evening I promise, I just wanted ot give you guys a taste of my warped mind....

Title: Rescue Me
Prologue.
Pairings/Characters : Jared/jensen ; Chris; Steve; Jensen and Jareds Family ; J.D.M. and others I cannot even remember right now.
Disclaimer: Sadly I dont own them, I wish to god I did, but alas,no... except Mark, I do however very shamefaced admit to making this guy up in my very sadly and warped mind!
Summary: ahhh not yet foks.... would only give the game away....

Mark Peters was angry.

No he wasn’t just angry, he was furious!

He had periodically gone to Jared over the last six months and asked him, nicely he thought, to come back, and the stupid prick kept turning him away. He fingered the bruise just under his eye gingerly. He had gone there this morning to talk to Jared again and his lover had actually hit him! The stupid bastard had the nerve to strike him and tell him to back off and leave Jared alone, while that other asshole Chris had almost come off the stool laughing. They had laughed, laughed at him, Chris and some blonde guy, and Jared would pay for that. Granted Jared hadn’t even been there when he had gone by this time, off doing some of his ridiculous charity work with those goddamned teenagers. But Jared had to learn that letting his people run around thinking they could do what they liked would eventually fall back on him. He had gotten over the fact that Chris had hit him a few times the first time he had gone to that bar, he had expected it, and hell he even let him have those shots, least he could do... considering... But the last straw was that..... Man, thinking he could steal what belonged to him and then having the nerve to hit him while his friends looked on and laughed? Jesus didn’t Jared know he was only thinking of his future?

Jared was getting quite a bit of notice, and Mark was intrigued. It was said in his circles, which he knew were the best circles to mix in, that Jared had quite a charisma about him, people in all the right places had been eyeing Jared as he went about setting up programme after programme in schools across Texas and neighbouring states. People were falling over themselves to do what he asked of them, fucking falling over themselves to hand over their money for some ungrateful crowd of teenagers who would probably burn them in their own homes as quick as look at them, and all because Jared smiled that smile and flashed those goddamned puppy eyes. It wasn’t often, no, Mark had never admitted to making a mistake in his life, and he actually never did make mistakes, his business and his success in this business depended on it, but, damn he had made a massive one with Jared. How he had never spotted the potential in him when he had him under his roof and under his control he didn’t know... he had handled all his own clients with ease when he brought them round, he knew that. Looking back he could see that he had actually brought the most awkward of his clients to Jared to entertain and win over.... he had just never realised at the time what he had been doing. That was a mistake he wasn’t going to make again.

Jared was getting noticed, people were starting to ask questions about him. Who was he? Where did he come from? Who are his family? And possibly the most damaging question as far as Mark was concerned was, what was Jareds history? Because that question if answered could spell disaster for Mark. If asked often enough or if someone dug deep enough, they would find out that Jared had been Marks husband, and they would want to know why they were no longer married, and what had happened... He knew he would get away with the jilted husband for bar owner lover for a while; he was damn good at persuading people too. But, mud sticks and all it would take is one damning article in the right newspaper and people would not want to touch Mark, neither socially nor in Business... So he needed to get this under control, he needed to get Jared under control, get him back here where he could keep an eye on him and maybe nudge him in the political direction and failing that... If he couldn’t get Jared under control, he would have to apply some damage control.... and as much as he hated involving others, this was serious, he needed Jared silenced.... using any means necessary.
