Nine a.m. that morning, a phone rang in an hotel room in L.A. , and Mark Peters answered on the fourth ring as he walked out of the bathroom from his shower, a towel wrapped around slim hips.

‘’hello?’’

‘’Mr Peters? ‘’

‘’Yes?’’

‘’This is Tony Moore sir, you wanted to be kept informed of the situation?’’

‘’Ah yes, Tony, so tell me what you know.’’

‘’Well Jared left the bar at approximately three a.m. this morning sir, and headed straight back to the house .’’

‘’You sure? You followed him to make sure as usual?’’

‘’Yes sir, I had him followed sir, he was using the bike, he had no idea as usual that he had company.’’

‘’And the owner of the bar? Did you get any information on him like I asked?’’

‘’Yes sir, his name is Jensen Ackles, he bought the bar about six months ago, after the break up of a long term relationship with a Steve Carlson, he is a friend of Mr Kane, and Mr Kane has been staying with Mr Ackles for the last few weeks. He is thirty years old and is originally from Dallas Texas, and comes from a fairly well to do family, whom he is still close to. ‘’

‘’Ok, good, stay with Jared, Tony and don’t let him spot you like he almost did the last time!’’

‘’Yes sir, I fired Williams after that incident like you ordered sir.’’

‘’Good, good, let me know if he leaves the house again before I get back ‘’

Mark hung up the phone before Tony Moore could reply, and sighed deeply as he clutched the cell phone in his hand, damnit, he hated it when Jared went to see Kane, the man just wasn’t a good influence on him at all, Jared was always ...... different, when he got back, more..... assertive, happier, and that never worked well for Mark, he needed Jared focused entirely on him. He had tried everything to come between the two men over the last four years, but bar outright telling Jared he wasn’t to see Kane, nothing worked, they were too close. The only good thing was, Kane kept his distance and never seemed to interfere with them too much, Jared always travelled to see him whenever he was in the locality.

He wondered about this Ackles guy and was he much of a threat... he would have to monitor the situation closely for a while and see what came of it. Could be he just happened to be an ordinary bar owner and would have no more contact with Jared. At any rate it would be worth keeping an eye on the situation, better to always have the facts to hand, you just never knew when the cause to use them arose.

‘’who was that?’’

Mark turned toward the bed at the sound of the sleepy voice, and a tousled blonde head appeared over the covers as Richard or was it Roman, sleepily scratched his head...

‘’Oh nothing for you to worry your head about, just keeping an eye on my assets’’ he replied as he stripped the towel from his body and made for the bed where Richard or was it Roman, grinned and threw back the covers.

Jared walked into the large kitchen where he found Lucy sitting at the table having coffee with Sue the cook. He had just finished checking everything was ready for Marks return later that evening, and now needed to make sure Sue would have his favourite dinner ready, before he went upstairs and showered and dressed the slacks and shirt Mark liked him to wear after being away for a few days. He would not be amused Jared knew if he saw the baggy sweatpants and ragged t shirt he was wearing right now.

‘’Hey ladies, any coffee going?’’ He smiled good naturedly as he approached the two women.

Lucy and Sue looked up and twin smiles of fondness brightened both their faces as he grabbed a mug and poured himself a coffee and sat down to join them. Jared was such a sweetheart ad they both loved him like he was their own, he had such an air of vulnerability about him, and a gentleness in him that completely went against his tall well built body, and was always ready with a hug good morning and a kiss goodnight, he just warmed the heart of this house and they both adored him.

‘’Jared, how was your night sweetie?’’ Lucy asked as she leaned across the table and squeezed his hand fondly. ‘’How was Mr Kane? Behaving I hope?’’

Lucy remembered Chris Kane from the one time he had visited the house a couple years back, when Mark had been away, he had been such a rogue of a man and flirted shamelessly with her and the rest of the female staff, but she could see the closeness of the two men and she was glad Jared had someone he was that close to.

‘’Chris is just fine Lucy, he asked after you, and you too Sue’’ He winked at them both and grinned at the smiles the women shared at his words, oh yes, Chris certainly knew how to have the ladies eating out of his hands.

‘’Sue, is everything alright for tonight? Mark is gonna be home in time for dinner he said this afternoon when I spoke to him’’

‘’Yes Jared dear, I have the salmon all ready to go my love, everything will be perfect, don’t you worry none’’ Sue answered in her soft voice.

‘’I knew I could count on you Susie!’’ Jared answered and gave her a quick hug and kiss on the cheek as he rose from the table to go shower.

‘’Jared honey, you look exhausted, did you get any sleep last night?’’Lucy asked him worriedly as she studied his tired face. ‘’Don’t tell me Mr Kane kept you up all night talking again!’’

Jared face closed off for a moment as he remembered the previous night and his cowardly run from the apartment after his conversation with Jensen. He was gonna have to call Chris after his shower if he got the chance and explain, Chris would understand.

‘’No he didn’t Lucy, I just decided to come straight home and haven’t had a chance to catch up on any sleep yet, but don’t worry I will ‘’ he promised as he caught sight of her about to scold him.

‘’Now I’m gonna go shower ladies, if anyone calls’’ and he left the kitchen after giving both women a kiss and a quick hug.

After a quick shower and dressing in smart slacks and black shirt that Mark liked so much, Jared made it down the stairs and was surprised when Mark walk in the front door.

‘’Well hey!’’ He said with surprise as Mark approached him and gave him a quick peck on the lips ’’I wasn’t expecting you for another couple of hours at least, you should have called, I could have had something ready for you!’’

‘’You’re ready, and thats enough for me Jared’’ Mark said with a grin as he puled Jareds head down and gave him a long slow kiss, just on this side of rough. ‘’Hmmm, you taste good Jared, I missed you babe’’

Jared Smiled softly ‘’Yeah, I missed you too Mark, come on, let me get you some coffee’’

‘’No, no coffee Jared, I would however love a glass of whiskey’’

He caught Jareds look of concern and grinned ‘’I love that you are worried about me baby, but Ive had a long damn week of meetings and I sure could use a drink, please?’’

Although it was said in a placating manner, Jared knew there was no question at all and quietly poured Mark a drink and sat down beside him on the couch.

‘’So, what did you do all week while I was gone Jared?’’

‘’Oh the usual, I volunteered at the shelter a few days, and I went to meet Chris, he was playing in a bar , he asked about you’’

‘’Did he? Thats nice of him, meet anyone else at this...bar?’’

Jared immediately stiffened, he hated when Mark got jealous and petty whenever Chris was brought up, he wished to god these two men would get on, but he supposed it was enough that they tolerated each other as it was.

‘’ Yeah, I met a friend of his actually, he owns the bar, nice guy’’ Jared said casually, knowing Mark was observing.

‘’Yeah? How nice?’’

‘’Oh you know, he was kinda quiet, we didn’t talk much, he kept himself to himself’’

‘’I see, did you hit the gym while I was gone babe? You are starting to look a bit loose around the middle there Jared, gotto keep up appearances baby’’ Mark said as he patted Jareds already flat stomach and rose from the couch to pour himself another drink. It was enough and he smiled to himself as he saw the desired effect his words had on Jared, and the light dim in his eyes. Had to keep his assets under his control...

Lucy arrived at that moment to ask if they needed anything , and informed them that dinner would be ready within the hour, and the subject was changed.

And as Mark clinically prepared Jared later that night, and entered him with a full thrust, Jared held his own cock in his hand and stroked to a picture of deep green eyes and an infectious laugh, as Mark thrust behind him.

Mark is an ass! just wants his piece of ass under his control while he goes off and screws whom ever he likes, I didn't like him before and now I really hate him. If Jared ever decides to leave him it will get ugly. More ples?!
