Summary:Jensens world crashes down around him after his lover is reported missing in a foreign country....
Main Pairing : Jensen/Jared ; Chris kane/Camille Soroyan (extra points if you recognise the character) and a few others that will be introduced as i make up the story...

Warnings: I think maybe i should have done this before, but i do want to warn of Character death (minor) and in this chapter there are scenes of a violent nature,so if you are sensitive please be careful....

‘Jensen… please slow down man, and listen for a minute!’

‘No Chris, I’m going, simple as that… If Jared is out there, and he is still alive, then I’m going to find him myself and bring him home!’

The two men stood in the middle of Jensen and Jareds bedroom, there was a suitcase on the bed, which Jensen was packing, not really taking note of what he was throwing in. An hour ago Cam had told him that Jared was still alive and it was as if something had gone off in Jensens head, and he was damned if he was gonna wait around here any longer while the clocked ticked down the 48 hours those bastards had given them.

‘Jensen, you are gonna be of absolutely no help to him out there! All you will end up doing is getting in the way or getting hurt, come on man; you need to be reasonable about this!’ Chris made to grab the suitcase again and Jensen had it…

‘Now you listen to me Chris, and you listen good, three days ago I was told that the man I loved was dead, three days ago I thought I had watched him be beaten to death by sick fucks and there wasn’t a damn thing I could do about it, now I’m told he is alive out there somewhere and you expect me to sit here and wait?’ Jensen stepped up into Chris face ‘No, no way am I sitting here, now I’m going to pack, I’m going to get on a fucking plane and I’m going to find Jared and bring him home, and you get in my way again Chris, I love you man, but I swear I will kick your ass!’

Steve spoke for the first time, since Jensen had marched into the bedroom to pack his things ‘Then we will come with you’

Jensen looked to him and the two men stared at each other as if in a silent conversation before Jensen nodded ‘Yeah ok, thanks man, we go together then.’

‘Chris? You in?’

Chris looked at the two men, who meant more to him than his own flesh and blood and answered ‘Yeah, I’m in’

Three hours later, the three men found themselves in a cab heading for the airport, with strict instructions from Cam as to what their first moves were the minute they landed…

Cam had pulled some strings and called in a few high powered favors, and managed to get someone from the American Embassy over there to meet them at the airport and take them directly to the Embassy, where they would be staying, Cam swore she would hunt them down if they did anything stupid, like get themselves hurt or killed, and she wanted them where she knew they would be safe, at least at night.

Jensen had agreed readily to everything Cam had said, but, he had no intention of staying in the Embassy, but there had been no point telling her that before they left. There was only one place he wanted to be when he landed, and that was the hotel room Jared and Tom had stayed in. He needed to feel close to Jared for while and that was where he was going.

The plane ride itself was uneventful, Jensen spent the trip silently gazing out the window, seeing nothing but Jareds face, and scenes popping unbidden into his mind…Jensen’s birthday party three months ago and the party they had had at the house and how drunk Jared had gotten and how he had very drunkenly told anyone that would listen that Jensen was it for him, Jensen smiled at the memory of the hangover Jared had suffered for two days afterwards, friggin lightweight; Or the nights not long after moving in, when Jensen would find Jared sitting out under that tree at all hours just sitting under it a small smile on his face like his life was complete, Jensen would join him sometimes and they would just sit and talk quietly, hands linked and Jared playing with the fingertips on Jensens hand, sometimes they didn’t talk sometimes they made love under that tree, Jensen would sit with him and Jared wouldn’t say a word, just reach for him, and showed him with more than words what this meant to him

Jensen gave a small smile, god if that tree could talk, Jensens mind ran from one scene to the other, like watching a roll of film unravel in his mind.

‘You doin’ ok there man?’ Chris’ voice broke through his thoughts.

Jensen turned his head to face Chris and nodded giving Chris his first real smile in days.

‘Yeah, I’m good, I’m real good, We’re going to get him back Chris, I won’t leave this country without him, we’re gonna get him back’

Three hours later and Jensen, Chris and Steve found themselves sitting in a meeting with a guy from the foreign office as they tried to explain where they were currently with the investigation into Jareds disappearance. It was frustrating as hell, to know he was so close, but no closer to getting him back. They had explained that they had gone through Jareds hotel room and had managed to finally get the location of where they had agreed to a meeting, but had been greeted with nothing but an empty derelict building, and there had been signs of a scuffle. They had also recovered the land rover Jared and Tom had been in, the people involved obviously knowing that taking the van would have been a stupid thing to do. They had also recovered the camera Tom had been using, and while it was damaged in the scuffle, they had managed to get some footage off of it, but nothing of importance, and nothing to lead them to Jareds whereabouts now.

They were told by the investigators, that they felt it was of vital importance that word didn’t get out that Jared was still alive, these people were unstable at best, and if they figured out it was Jared they had and not the cameraman there was no way of knowing how they would react. They promised to keep them fully informed and stressed that it was also vital that the guys didn’t interfere in any way, just to let them do their work and that they were confident of finding Jareds location in the next few hours.

An hour later found them, standing outside Jareds hotel room door, having thanked the Embassy people profusely but refusing to stay there, Jensen insisted he was going to the hotel where Jared had stayed.

Having taken a deep breath Jensen opened the door to the room and stepped inside. He honestly was torn between tears and laughter, the room was so typical of the mayhem Jared left if he was left to his own devices. The beds were unmade, and blankets everywhere, drawers were torn out, but he assumed that was from when the investigators had gone through the room, Jareds case was thrown on the bed and Jensen made his way to that, picking up, fingering and dropping a few of Jareds personal items. But it was the T shirt thrown idly on the floor that caught his attention, Jareds, he picked it up, completely uncaring of Chris and Steve, completely uncaring of how soiled and sweaty it was, he smiled and clutched the T shirt to him, inhaling Jareds scent.

He raised watery, determined eyes to the two men silently watching…

‘I’m not leaving this country without him; he is coming home with me!’

And for the first time in a week, the men saw the steely determination on Jensens face, and believed him.

Awesome update...*grins* these last couple of chapters I've felt like a needed a flag or something to wave so I can cheer Jensen on.

Seriously I'm sitting at my boring secretary desk right now, grinning like crazy, mumbling "yeah Jen, go save Jared."

I may not have a job soon lol.
