Summary:Jensens world crashes down around him after his lover is reported missing in a foreign country....
Main Pairing : Jensen/Jared ; Chris kane/Camille Soroyan (extra points if you recognise the character) and a few others that will be introduced as i make up the story...
Authors note: This is my first venture into this scary scary world of writing, and i have to thank my wonderful friend and beta

garvaldmains for her help!I could not do this without this wonderful lady's help and input.
Warnings: I think maybe i should have done this before, but i do want to warn of Character death (minor) and in this chapter there are scenes of a violent nature,so if you are sensitive please be careful....

Chapter two

‘No ... you’re wrong’ Simple as that, they were wrong, cause no way was Jensen taking the word of some technician who was probably high on whatever shit drugs they did down there anyway, no way. He looked at Chris with disbelieving eyes, ‘and you are taking their word for it?’ He glanced toward Cam who just nodded silently, her eyes filled with tears, ‘Chris? You’re not seriously taking their word that its Jared right? Christ man you know better than that!’ Jensen’s voice rose slightly as he looked from one to the other completely disbelieving of everything they were trying to tell him....

‘Christ guys! Jared is gonna have some laugh at you two when he gets back!’ he rose from the chair and started to take the mugs to the sink in a jerky almost frantic manner...’If he isn’t already laughin’ at you somewhere, no way is it Jared, I - ’

‘Jensen, stop!’Chris’ voice broke through Jensen’s frantic rambling, ‘I’m sorry Jen’ he spoke softly then and his voice broke a little on a sob he tried to cover ‘I’m so fucking sorry Jen, it’s him, I know cause ...’ he stopped to take a shaky breath and looked Jensen straight in the eyes, his heart breaking at the sight of his friend standing there, silently pleading with him not to say anymore...

‘You know how, Chris?’ Jensen whispered... ‘ You know how?’

‘Cause I saw it, Jen, I saw the footage.’ It took everything in Jensen not to break apart at the words and he silently rallied himself, closing his eyes and breathing deep, opening his eyes again he glanced at Cam who was full on crying now, tears falling silently down her face as she watched Chris try to talk to Jensen.

‘So?’ Jensen scoffed... ‘So fucking what Chris? You said yourself the footage was damaged and blurry!’ He whirled around gripping the counter top tightly and staring sightlessly out the window for a few seconds before turning again to face Chris ‘… it could be a mistake ... it could be someone else on that footage! Didn’t Tom go missing too? Maybe it was him, huh? Did you think of that? I bet you didn’t, cause they are practically the same height Chris, same build hell, fucking practically same hairstyle at this stage...’ He knew he was starting to babble, he just couldn’t seem to stop himself... ‘Isn’t Jared always saying, people often mistake them? Remember the story he told us about the waitress giving him shit about not calling and it was Tom, who had taken her number? Remember that huh?’ he giggled hysterically as he turned and started wiping the already spotless counter with the cloth... ‘He is always saying that Tom was gonna get him killed with his antics with the ladies... he always says that’s why God made him gay, so that....’

‘He was wearing the black jacket Jen’ Chris voice broke through his rambling again ‘he was wearing that damn jacket you gave him so much shit for’ Chris voice hitched on a sob as he continued ‘that damn fucking jacket he bought when you went to Europe last spring’

‘The long black jacket’ Jensen whispered ‘the one that he wears on the hottest day no matter how he sweats in it cause he says he looks like James fucking Bond in it’ his face twisted in a small smile as he remembered the day Jared had bought it, he had been so pleased with his purchase he had strolled the streets of Amsterdam in it, even though it was 90F outside.

‘Yes, that one, and as bad as the footage is, you can just make out the bright green sneakers ...’ Chris stopped then... reached for Jensen, but Jensen stepped back ‘I’m sorry Jen, I wish to god I was wrong, I wish to god they were wrong’ he said as he let his hands fall to his sides and settled for watching as Jensen visibly shuddered and then straightened his back and looked Chris straight in the eyes.

‘I want to see it’

‘Jensen I don’t think that’s such a good idea man’ Chris looked stricken, ’Please, don’t do this to yourself ‘

Jensen never wavered, never lost the steely determined look in his eyes as he stared Chris down ‘ I said, I want to see it, Chris, you’re so determined its him, I need to see it for myself’

‘Jensen’ Cam spoke for the first time since Chris had told him ‘Listen to me, you don’t want to see it, its... its not …’ She took a breath before continuing ‘Its horrible Jensen, ‘

‘You obviously have it with you Cam, else Chris here wouldn’t have seen it, so show it me! Don’t think I won’t march down to the station and demand to see it there, because I will! You want me to believe that Jared is....... You want me to believe the shit they are spouting at you, then I want proof, I want to see it. Now!’

Chris and Cam exchanged an uncertain glance at each other and Jensen had just about had it ‘ Chris let me see the goddamn footage or so help me god I will kick your ass and go straight to the station!’

Chris looked to Cam and jerked his head in a nod and she moved to the laptop he hadn’t even noticed lying closed on the table, taking a deep breath she waited for it to load before pressing some keys to load the video. Jensen moved to stand before the screen arms folded in a defensive gesture as the screen sprang to life and the bottom fell out of his world.

First, no picture, just sound, noise, laughing, men swearing and the sounds of heavy thuds and there was no mistaking the sound of Jared’s voice as he cried out and begged ‘ No!’ Thud ‘Please...no’ another thud ‘I’ll do anything, just please no more, no more please.‘ Then no more talk, just the unmistakeable sound of feet kicking off of a body...Jensen watched in horror as the picture slowly came into view and he could just make out the sight of four or five men, gathered in a ring around a large long body on the floor, curled in on itself as they mercilessly alternated between kicking and beating the person with what looked to be iron bars ... the picture was by no means clear, but it left you in no doubt as to what was going on. He saw the blurred sight of the long black jacked wrapped around the body as if it could provide some protection from what it was enduring, the sound of what he gathered was someone else in the room being restrained and muffled screaming as if his mouth was being covered, and as the man on the floor groaned and tried to curl his legs even more in on himself the unmistakeable sight of a bright green sneaker that only Jared wore....

‘Stop, oh god turn it off’ Jensen choked out hoarsely before turning tail and barely making it to the bathroom and losing whatever coffee had been lining his stomach. He could hear Chris starting to follow him and rushed to the bathroom door, locking it and barricading himself inside...
