Great chapter!
I actually thought it was cute how Jensen distracted Jared from his thoughts with the mention of Ghost (even though Jared probably didn't get the reference).

And poor Jared! My heart was breaking for him in the flashback/memory. I'm sure Jared had a mixture of emotions running through him, from sorrow to guilt. *squishes him*
